Stage 3c. Immersive Modelling (Additional Option)
Rendered, interactive models are sent across for you to explore on your tablet/smartphone/laptop. This allows you to move around the spaces and easily annotate design options. This is offered as an option in addition to the standard 3D modelling.
This means that you can navigate around the rooms yourself to give a sense of the space. This is a great collaboration design tool, allowing clients to quickly mark up the design with their thoughts and ideas, enabling rapid design iteration and development

Drawing Board and Instagram Feed
It`s not pretty, it`s not neat and it`s not tidy...
But for me, working by hand with multiple colours is a helpful way to work through design ideas and option iterations.
These will be a basis for for development and testing the ideas, drawing up accurately and a starting point.
But working by hand will always be the most natural way for me to get into a flow state of thinking about designs.

This beautiful 1920s house has a lot of character, but it`s also got some serious thermal performance issues. From small cavities to cold bridging stone mullions, it`s a classic case of heritage charm vs. modern comfort.
Im excited to develop a retrofit plan to improve energy efficiency and create a warmer, more comfortable home.

It`s been a busy January, and it`s straight back to it with client meetings, briefing sessions, and design presentations.
Without a doubt, the most stunning day was surveying a new project in the snow!
The sky in the survey photos is just perfect.
Very cold conditions dont make for my favourite time for surveying, but lots of thermals, gloves, and excellent coffee (kindly client supplied) meant I could enjoy the beauty of the day and savour a day away from screens.
I carefully looked at the environment, context, and discussed with the clients at length what they need, hope for, and in a perfect world, dream of.
All the information I need to design the next phase and form for this Bath home.
