Weston Renovation & Hidden Garden Room

Transforming a Family Home

Our client’s goal was to create a welcoming, modern space where their teenage daughters could entertain friends. The existing layout presented challenges, with a cramped kitchen and an awkward staircase.

We successfully renovated the kitchen, opened up the rear of the house, and reconfigured the staircase to create a more functional and spacious living area. Despite the tight constraints, we managed to incorporate a lower-ground separate living area with shower room, boiler, and washing machine.

The result is a beautifully transformed home that feels both open and inviting. Key features include a double-story round exposed timber column, a slatted timber balustrade with a custom-designed newel post, a curved shower room wall, and exposed structural beams with lots of rooflights.

Our clients’ trust in our expertise, combined with the exceptional work of our contractors, led to a project that exceeded their expectations.

★★★★★ Client Review:

“Verity was such a pleasure to work with. She really listened to us and was able help us work out what was important for the success of our project. She was enthusiastic, highly organised, flexible, quick to respond, clear and detailed, honest and straightforward, and she put a lot of thought and energy into our project. We felt immediately reassured by her combination of practicality and architectural flair. The result is all that we wanted and more – meeting our brief and with extra style thrown in! We absolutely love the space she has designed and it works brilliantly for our family on a limited footprint. We could not recommend Verity highly enough.
